Dylan McLaughlin (Navajo Nation, 1989) is a sound and video artist, educator, and storyteller currently living and working in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Looking critically to sites of extraction, his work explores forms of witness and implication. In his multi-media installation, interactive, and performative works, McLaughlin looks to engage the poetics and politics of landscape formation and human affect. In 2016, he co-formed art collective Winter Count with Cannupa Hanska Luger and Ginger Dunnill.
